Villa a Sesta is named after this small hamlet located in the heart of Chianti Classico Gallo Nero, one of the most renowned territories in Tuscany, known for the production of quality wine and olive oil. Villa a Sesta is indeed a piece of paradise nestled in the countryside between Siena, Florence and Arezzo, where art, history and nature coexist harmoniously. Established in 1779 and purchased by Riccardo Tattoni in 1989. Mr. Tattoni has two passions in life, Wine and Polo, so when the opportunity came to purchase some land in Tuscany where he could achieve his two dreams he did so. The winery located in Castelnuovo Berardenga is spread over 1,100 hectares of land of where 55 hectares are dedicated to vineyards and they have 6,000 olive trees.
